Sachs F40 Friction plate 4 paddle

Naturally when upgrading the power there comes a point where the standard clutch will no longer hold the power. At this point the engine will run away and the clutch plate will burn out if the driver does not back off. When this starts to happen , when tuning the Z28 we will usually have to cap the torque at around the 380LBS area . Some will hold a little more but usually not for all that long .

This friction plate is the more hardcore of the upgrade clutch parts that are available , it is a solid 4 paddle version. We have seen these take 500LBS of torque without slipping and prove very reliable too.

Combined with the proper Sachs ZF racing pressure plate and a TTV single mass flywheel , if you are seeking 500LBS of torqque then this is the friction disc to go for.
