Flywheel bolts play an important role in the performance and safety of race cars and street machines alike. That's why the fastener experts at ARP have developed special bolts that are far superiour to OEM hardware.

These premium grade Pro Series bolts are made from a material originally developed for NASCAR use, and have a tensile strength rating of 200,000 psi. They are forged from aerospace alloy and heat treated prior to thread rolling and machining. They feature an exclusive, low profile, 12-point head design and a slightly larger than OEM shank diameter for increased flywheel register.

Supplied as original equipment to the Ford Motor Company for the 300bhp Ford Focus RS, the Quaife automatic torque biasing (ATB) helical gear limited slip differential (LSD) is a direct replacement for your car’s factory ‘open’ unit.

Backed with the peace of mind of a lifetime warranty, the Quaife ATB helical gear limited slip differential is fully automatic and progressive in operation and unlike plate style units the Quaife ATB never locks, but seamlessly and smooth transfers power and torque away from a spinning wheel to the wheel enjoying the most traction.

In practice this significantly reduces torque steer, understeer and steering ‘snatch’ in front wheel drive applications compared to a plate style limited slip differential.

On the road and track this translates into reduced wheelspin and torque steer, less understeer during cornering and improved straight line acceleration. On the track the Quaife ATB cuts lap times dramatically and improves standing quarter performance.

Perfectly suited to high power front drive cars, but equally at home in rear and four wheel drive vehicles, the Quaife ATB helical gear limited slip differential is a direct replacement for the original factory ‘open’ unit and requires no special oils or servicing.

Fast road clutch for the Astra H VXR comprising;-

This clutch gives a decent increase in torque holding capability yet retains the original drive ability of the OE clutch, with only a mild increase in pedal stiffness.

It is designed to work with the standard dual mass flywheel, or the TTV solid flywheel.

Will not work with the Helix Solid Flywheel, contact us about a replacement clutch for one of these.

 

Helix guarantee it to take 340lb/ft of torque all day long, we generally use these up to 400lbs

This Flywheel is designed to replace the Dual Mass unit fitted standard to the Astra Vxr, and other Z20 engine M32 Gearbox Combo's in the Sri's etc.

Weighing around 5.4Kg these solid units will liven up your engine considerably. They also do away with the terrible detached feel given by the dual mass unit, giving a more positive driving experience. They also won't fall apart when you up the boost, like the standard ones do.

You can use this flywheel with a standard clutch, or the Helix clutches that we stock for the dual mass flywheel will also work with them, if you are going for 300hp or above.

Quality CNC machined and precision balanced, ready for fitment out of the box.

This clutch will take a lot more abuse than the organic lined ones. They are a lot more aggressive at the biting point than standard. This 6 paddle is less aggressive and lasts longer than the 4 paddle version. They also last longer than organic discs in racing conditions. It is designed to work with the standard or TTV's solid racing flywheel, eradicating the problematic performance sapping dual mass flywheel.

 

Helix guarantee it to take 390lb/ft of torque all day long.

M32 differntial install kit - the hardest part of installing the diff to the M32 gearbox is installing the bearings. In this kit the bearings come supplied by ourselves and also installed.  The only tools you need to install this are ones from a very basic tool kit. 

Timkin bearings will be supplied on the differential with metal cages - not the shi*e plastic ones!

Also supplied with some new differential seals to complete the job  - if you also need oil then contact us and we will arrange this too ! 

Generally speaking we can have these to you within about ten days at most - if something is not going to plan we will contact you straight away. 

Simply put - Wavetrac is the only gear diff on the market that does not lose all drive when one axle is unloaded. Axles become unloaded in aggressive driving, track cornering, extremely slick surfaces, etc. It happens more than most people realise.

We won’t go into torque bias ratios or the concept of how torque biasing diffs work at this point. Let’s get to how the Wavetrac affects performance:


For example, you have a conventional gear diff (OEM, Quaife, MF, OBX, Truetrac, Torsen, etc.), you're on a race track for a track day and during cornering your inside wheel bumps over the curbing. This is normal for track driving. The issue is that for the brief moments your inside tire becomes unloaded when bouncing over curbs, your other wheel is not getting drive - is not putting power down. Gear diffs need load on both axles in order to function. The result on a track (or during aggressive driving) is that there are many times when a normal gear diff supplies only intermittent power to the gripping wheel.

Now, same track with Wavetrac: the patented cam device in the Wavetrac prevents loss of drive when that inside wheel is unloaded. The device is able to generate a load inside the diff (to replace the lost load as it happens) that can then be biased to the gripping wheel - in the end making more consistent power delivery through a corner. That makes the car more predictable, and faster overall.

Other benefits:

Patented Carbon Fibre Bias Plate for the pinions. All other gear type LSDs run the pinions on the housing, meaning the friction from 0 miles is different to 100 miles, thus effectiveness is reduced over the life of the diff. With the Wavetrac performance is consistent with the Carbon Fibre bias plates!
Patented Wave Profile eliminates the effect of a near to and zero load condition drive ability issues found in all other gear type ATB LSDs.
ARP Bolts used throughout for superior faster reliability. 
9310 steel gears run in billet or forged steel bodies.

WAVETRAC: Smooth is Fast

The beauty of the Wavetrac is that it is ideally suited to high performance road cars that see track use. It is very strong, yet transparent to both driver and traction control electronics during regular driving. On the track or in spirited road use, it provides drive to both wheels without the handling issues that traditional clutch type diffs create (there is no tendency to push/understeer with a Wavetrac). 

The Wavetrac out performs other gear type differentials because unlike them, it won't lose drive when one axle is unloaded (which happens more often than you'd think).

Lastly, one of the most underrated benefits of the Wavetrac is its smooth delivery of power near the limit. Its patented design makes for a very predictable, smooth addition of power when you need it most - when things are at their limits: on the edge of traction mid-corner and using throttle to keep it there; or coming into a corner a little hot, but quickly back on it to maintain exit speed...

These situations are often subjective to the driver, but the benefit can be felt. The Wavetrac makes you faster because it lets you drive with confidence. Smooth is fast.
