Made with Hydroscand EGEFLEX1 EN 853 1SN hydraulic hose meaning they are more durable and flexible than the standard Vauxhall part.

The final and nicely suprising benefit of using our upgrade hoses is they are actually cheaper than the standard Vauxhall part.

We typically dont see any issues in running around the 450 hp region with this cooler ,  for higher power outputs something a little larger is necessary to keep things cool.

Great uprade for  VXR's that are very high power oriented, Perfect for Fast Road and Track use, the latter being safest. 

Please note: This kit will require you to remove your aircon radiator due to the huge 100mm core. (When was the last time you used your air con?)

Even though this intercooler is designed to cope with 500+ bhp power figures it works just as well on 300+ bhp cars, we would consider it overkill though should you wish to run that power, you could be saving some weight ! 

Airtec has released their Astra VXR Stage 3 Intercooler with a great price for the size. 

The huge 100mm gobstoper core comes with full depth large air ram scoop with huge 70mm pipe outlets (Silicone reducers included)

The new stage 3 kit comes complete with 70-60mm reducers, the 70mm connects to the intercooler and 60mm connects to the alluminium connects provided, this means that your intercooler is future proof.

If you take your power levels to the extreme, 70mm outlets are ready to cope with the extra air flow ie, bigger throttle bodies and bigger turbo outlets. Custom pipework would be required for over 500+ bhp.

This cooler will run comfortably at 500-600 hp , this is a large cooler aimed at very modified vehichles. 

Avalable in this advet as a black cooler with black hoses, there are red and blue colours available so please contact us if you require a different colour.

Z20 - Cool running Thermostat - Including housing and seal

This thermostat opens at a lower temperature than standard.

The standard thermostat regulates the coolant temperature to around 90°C, with the occasional jaunt above 100°C! This is good for emissions, but not much else.

This thermostat regulates the coolant temperature to around 80-85°C, which increases detonation resistance due to decreased charge and combustion chamber temperature.

Ideally we like to re-program the fan switching temperatures too, to take in to account the lowered running temperature. This is not strictly necessary though, the fans will just work as standard.

Turbosmart Gen V waste gate Astra VXR water cooling pack

A lot of the new waste gates come with water cooling but its not always used , usually through being difficult to connect into the system . Included in this kit are all the parts to install the Turbosmart Gen V waste gate to the Astra VXR type engine cooling setup.

Running the water cooling on the waste gate keeps the boost more constant , less error for the control to deal with to account for the difference in spring force due to heat. Cooling them keeps the boost more consistent over a longer run.

This kit is an optional upgrade to our GBT turbo kit , it is designed to work with the coolant hoses being tied down over the top of the radiator – this is a much better place for them in most cases. Even more so on a big turbo setup

When we install this kit in house we will often crimp the hoses to ensure nothing can come loose , jubilees are fine for use so are supplied in this kit as they are easier to work with for DIY install.
