Here at RND we offer custom tuning for mostly Vauxhalls , we do cater for other cars too but  it s difficult to quote a set price when we can sometimes be heading into the unknown.  For the cars that we deal in day to day,  we have worked out what to expect from each car .

This is a pretty good general idea of what to expect price wise for tuning , with the way we have developed the tuning there is time already included for some fault finding and fixing as part of the tuning charge. Basically if we can fix it while its on the dyno within the same time slot then generally  speaking it will not cost you any more. Where possible we will always try to repair any issues in a permanent way however it may be necessary to carry out a temporary fix on the day to make the most of the tuning session for the customer. 

 

 

Prior to mapping , there are several things that go hand in hand with such a job. Bigger injectors , pressure sensors , air flow meters , actuators , and spark plugs are amongst the things you may need changing. We have come up with a reduced pricing system for items fitted at the same time as any mapping. 

 

                                       

 

 

 

We also offer some remote services to help get you up and running again if you have made a lot of changes or sometimes just have ECU troubles. If you have a damaged ECU then we offer a mail order cloning service. By sending us your old ECU, also the new one to be recoded we can make this a plug and play job for at home. If you wish to sell your car and are thinking of putting the map back to standard then we can also do this too ! 

Where people have fitted a lot of different parts to their car and are unable to drive it to ourselves for some mapping , we offer a base mapping service via the post. This lets our customers get a nice safe base map on the car to suit the parts that they have fitted , the base map will feature lower RPM limiters and a much lower boost level to hopefully keep things much safer until we can tune your car fully. In most cases we can provide a base map however for some of the more crazy builds we are not always able to do this remotely. Sticking to more commonly used parts will always help , if you are using something that no one else has used before its likely we do not have a base map for it .
