Z20 Oil pump

Standard Oil pump for the Z20 engine.

We fit one to every engine we rebuild, as we see little point in risking what can be a large investment in new parts for the sake of one.

They are the same pump as fitted to the naturally aspirated version of the engine, and so come with a small adapter to fit the oil filter. As the turbo charged variants come with a thermostatic oil cooler take off plate, this adapter should be removed . It is as simple as using a pair of pipe grips, pliers, or a vice, and sometimes they even unscrew by hand.
