RnD Droplink Repair Kit 

This kit consists of all you should need to rejuvenate your RnD Droplinks. 

2 x M12 Spherical Bearing Rod End (RH Thread)
2 x M12 Spherical Bearing Rod End (LH Thread)
4 x Rubber Dust Boots for Rod Ends


Through general wear and tear the spherical bearings inside our droplink rod ends will eventually start to fail. Instead of having to replace the whole droplink (which would normally be the case with standard parts) only the rod ends need to be replaced to make your droplinks perform again like new.

 When replacing rod ends it is essential to include a new set of rubber dust boots, as they take a lot of punishment protecting the rod end bearings from the elements, this should ensure you get the most out of your new bearings.

 Designed for hassle free installation of Garrett turbo to a Z20 engine. 

This kit should hopefully save you the bother of sourcing all necessary parts for fitting. The same as we use in house we have come to find these parts reliable for all Garrett GT / GTX  28 - 30 - 35 Turbos.

Featuring billett CNC machined turbo fitting, temperature resistant silicone hose and a braided oil feed line rated far beyond the turbos oil feed pressure, these among other things ensure you are using the best equipment for your build.

Astra H Spherical top mount bearing kit - Includes new standard spring bearings

These Top Mounts replace the large rubber mounting that is on top of your front struts. Instead of being rubber, they are solid aluminium bearing housings that encase a high precision, maintenance free, spherical bearing. On the VXR range of cars there is the aditional benefit from removing the singular use plastic strut retaining clips that secusre the standard strut in place, these come with lockrings that hold the strut top tight to the chassis. 

 

This allows the wheel to retain it's set geometry whilst enduring any loads, such as cornering, braking, or during acceleration. During cornering it stops the front wheel "flopping" over into positive camber and reducing its contact area with the road. You can run less static front camber with these fitted than you had to with the originals to keep the tyre temperatures uniform, due to the lack of movement.

 

Working in the very limited space of the standard strut tower, they are designed to push up inside the strut tower, like the originals, and then clamp in place via a locking ring. The locking ring also features locking screws to physically prevent it from unwinding or coming loose in harsh conditions.

We have developed them to fit the standard damper / strut top. Any aftermarket dampers that use the original rubber strut top and bearing assembly should work with these, we have had them fitted to Gaz, Bilstien and KW coilovers for example. This advert shows them pictured with the Bilstien B14 front struts (Without adjuster in the top)  and the KW v2 front strut (adjuster in the top )

 

If you find that they do not fit your specific set up, we would love to help you make them do so. They are fairly universal, so usually it would just mean some different spacers. Getting them to fit will allow us to expand our list of known fitments, so we don't mind at all. We will fully refund you if we cannot make them fit any damper that uses the original top mount, provided you send them back undamaged.

 

These pillow ball top mounts come as a pair, including new custom CNC machined stainess steel strut top securing nuts .  These nuts are threaded all the way through so dont be alarmed if your damper shaft does not come all the way through the securing nut.

 

Designed for competition use, professional installation recommended, must be lubricated with PTFE spray every now and again and immediately if any creaking is heard from them.

Adjustable alternator bracket for the Astra H VXR Z20 series engine using the standard type alternator.

 

This adjustable bracket allows the alternator to be rotated back approximately 20mm.

 

Includes all mounting hardware, all hardware is stainless steel except the  main spacer, this is aluminium and annodised black to prevent corrosion.

 

The bracket itself is CNC Laser cut from 4 MM thick stainless steel plate.

ARP Z16 Flywheel Bolts

ARP Flywheel bolts for Z16, A16 and B16 engines.

These ARP bolts will hold the flywheel in place at higher peak loads and are capable of a minimum 20% increase on clamping load compared to standard GM bolts.

Stronger flywheel bolts are a must for anyone wanting to run bigger power / torque and until now the only readily available option for the Z16, A16 or B16 has been the standard GM bolt. 

After beggining the process of addressing this issue a couple of years ago we now have a solution designed by RnD and manufactured by ARP.

RnD Z20 Colidsbro Valve Guide Set 

 

CNC machined with depth stop 

Precision CNC turned, these guides are actually bored through with a boring bar and not just drilled.

 

  • Manufactured from colidsbro material, very hard wearing material with high lubrication properties, these will last five times longer than any traditional bronze guide.

 

  • Intergrated depth stop for easy fitting – if your head is OE spec then installing these guides to the depth stop will sit them just below the top tolerance of installed height (13.8 MM), if your cylinder head has had a bit of a hard time spring seat wise and needs the seat areas re machining, skimming this area by 0.2mm then fitting the guides will still leave them installed to standard spec.

 

  • Valve stem seal barb grip technology, these valve guides will hold a traditional valve stem oil seal in place without a retainer type oil seal being used. 

 

  • Relieved and radiused guide end to help improve air flow around the valve guide and reduce turbulance around the guide releasing them hidden horsepowers. 

 

  • These guides need machine reaming after install , the valve seats will need recutting back concentric after the guides have been installed and reamed.

 

  • Please contact us if you are interested in some extra heavy duty Chrome Nikel sintered valve seats.

Turbo Brace developed for use on Nortech V band manifold - Gen1 GBT MA3 type turbo

 

 

 

A turbo support is always a good idea to take some of the weight off the end of the manifold, meaning a much longer life to the manifold.

 

A flexible brace type mount should alwas be used on a turbo system, as it is intensly heated, things tend to expand and contract. Solid type brace systems will only lead to cracking sooner.

 

This flexible support type brace for the Z20 series engine, running a Nortech V band manifold system (others TBC ) with a first generation Garrett series turbo. Generally in this frame the compressor housing bolts seem o be imperial sizes so we will send out the apropiate bolt for your kit.

 

 

 

Attaching to one of the compressor cover bolts at the side of the compressor cover most near the engine block , this brace then utilises one of the engine block RWD engine mount configuation bolts to take the weight of the core, set up well you should be able to remove your manifold and the turbo more or less stay in place with only the brace and the downpipe.

 

Not having the weight of the turbo itself hung on the manifold will make a large difference in it's life.

 

Utilises the same quailty spherical bearing as we use in our suspension parts , full stainless steel hardware package.

Laser cut and folded aluminium bracket for the AEM 1 gallon tank and high pressure pump

 

Custom made to allow easy install of the AEM water methanol injection system into the rear end of a Vauxhall Astra rear seat – this bracket will also fit many other cars too if you are wanting to install the same meth kit to your car however we can not confirm for every type of car.

A common issue when installing the kit is where do you fit it ? Lots of the newer cars do not feature so many flat places that you have good access to install such a kit. A bracket system is the best way.

After installing a few of them you soon get to mounting the whole kit onto a base plate being the best idea , and this is what we did !

Save yourself some hassle and use this bracket. By fitting the tank more upright on the back of the rear seat it is far more easy to complete every task you need to do and makes the install much smarter all round.
