Adjustable Cam pulley for the Inlet and Exhaust Camshaft of the Vauxhall Z20 engine.

This pulley will allow you to time your camshafts to deliver maximum power where you want it, ideal for use with aftermarket or alternative OEM camshafts in your turbo Z20.

It includes the sensor ring on the backside, as shown in the picture above, so that the ECU is kept happy no matter where you position your exhaust cam.

For maximum performance when fine tuning on the dyno we recommend using a pair as this will then allow you to fine tune both the advance and the overlap to extract maximum performance from your engine.

Z20 Valve stem seal retainers with stem seals and Piper Single Valve Springs

The Z20 engine has a bit of a habit of blowing off the valve stem seals with high boost, particularly on the exhaust side. These little gems will keep them held down throughout the most arduous race use.

Precision CNC machined from Stainless Steel they are designed to be used with standard type stem seals and both double or single valve springs.

Sold as a kit with some new stem seals and a set of Pipers fast road Single Springs, which are ideal for use with their fast road cams, the XEV cams, or just for higher rpm high boost stability with the standard cams.

These are cheap insurance against the dreaded smokey idle that these engines are notorious for.

Note:- On anything serious we lightly hone the inside lip off of the exhaust side stem seals before fitting. This stops them gripping as tightly to the valves, and lets just a little bit of oil make it's way down to keep the stem seal from melting to the valve stem and ripping off. Intakes are fine as standard. Do not use any sealant on them.

Fast road camshafts for the Vauxhall Z20 turbo engines

These are designed to enhance power in the mid to top end of the powerband, whilst being compatible with all of the standard valvetrain.

These are fine to fit with standard springs, however we would recommend the use of Cat's single springs if you were going to race with them, as they handle the high rpm's better.

We recommend the fitment of our stem seal retainers, which we also provide as a kit with the single springs.

We also recommend the fitment of our adjustable cam pullies, to ensure you extract the most from your cam setup.

Suitable for the K04 stock turbo and larger turbos up to the 500HP region – we have seen over 500LBS of torque with the right turbo and these cams . On a fully forged LEH engine with a standard type hybrid turbo we often see over 360LBS peak torque.

Cat Semi Race Cams for Vauxhall Z20 Engine

These semi race cams are as lairy as you can go on the standard hydraulic lifters fitted to the Z20 engine.

You will need to uprate your valvesprings, and have the choice of either Cats single or double valve springs for use with these cams. We recommend the doubles if you are going to constantly run them at very high rpm, such as for racing use. A "fast road" car will be happy with the singles.

We recommend the fitment of our stem seal retainers, which we offer as a kit with the single or double valvesprings.

The fitment of a fresh set of hydraulic lifters is wise when fitting these cams, however a very low mileage set should be fine, and you may get away with a good set of higher mileage ones. We recommend this simply because these cams are pretty hard on them.

Finally we would also recommend fitting a pair of our adjustable cam pullies, so that you can fine tune the maximum potential out of your cam setup

Specs for these are as follows;

                                    Intake / Exhaust

Duration @ 0.1mm = 275°/259°

Duration @ 1mm = 237°/218°

Maximum lift = 11.15mm/10.20mm

Lift at TDC = 2.05mm/0.25mm

These have no issue win dealing with 500HP at all and should easily be large enough for around the 550 hp + region 

Cat Cams Full Race Cams for Z20 Engine

These camshafts are about as lairy as they come for the Z20. Designed for full race use, moving the bulk of the torque to the top end. They are ideal for use with fair to wild sized turbos.

These cams are a mechanical profile, meaning you will need to also swap all of your hydraulic lifters out for solid type ones and install Cats double valve springs. These can be found as a full kit along with a set of our valve stem seal retainers here.

We also recommend the use of our adjustable cam pullies to ensure you extract the maximum potential from this kit.

Overall this is a very involved setup aimed at very serious builds.
